Buyer Beware of Hidden Flaws

Many home buyers see a well presented home and take a mental picture of ownership. Home owners fall in love with interior decoration and often overlook the non critical condition of the property such as cracked walls, drafty windows, sagging floors, unventilated attic just to name a few which would require costly repairs. In addition, pitches in driveways or walkways which would cause run off water to run to home. During home inspection which is part of the home buying process it is important to ask the home inspector the cost of critical item fixes and non-critical item fixes, that require home owners costly repairs.
