Orlando SoDo Project

The bulldozers have started to develop this 20 acre site in south downtown Orlando located between Grant Street and West Crystal Lake. This development called SoDo (south of downtown) is named after SoHo area in New York. It will feature an urban center with 330,000 sq. ft. of retail including a Super Target, 70,000 sq. ft. of resturant space, 60,000 sq. ft. of office space and 300 condos. The developers will offer "Build a Bridge" program which will put money back in local schools, these schools have not been selected. Courtesy of Orlando Sentinel 1/18/07.
