Growth News in Poinciana

Recently Avatar Excutive held a community meeting to discuss future growth of Polk and Osceola counties targeting the area of Poinciana Florida. Here are some of the commerical projects planned.
  • A Chilis Grill & Bar and Wendlys at Cypress Plaza.
  • A new post office behind Publix off San Remo Road.
  • National hotel chain looking to build a 100 room 10 suite hotel.
  • Lowes Home Improvment store to be completed December 2007 off Pleasant Road.
  • At the Villages Shops at Bellalago, Publix grocery store, Walgreens, and McDonalds to be built.
  • 450,00 sq. ft. of office building to be built at 17-92 and Poinciana Blvd. And a Home Depot store under construction nearby.
  • There is plans to build a Movie Theater by Walmart or Publix off Cypress Parkway.
  • Osceola Regional Medical Center has plans to build a hospital.
  • Polk County Sherrifs office is building a satellite offcice at Lake Marion Elementary School for better accesibility.

Avatar Excutive stated he has not seen some much commercial construction during 12 years with the company.

    I am glad that the builders have decided to come and build here god knows we needed it!!!! I would just like to know when numbers for these stores will become available to the public for job purposes.
